I had a taste of California grey weather last january in San Diego. Unbelievable.

Don't feel so bad, here in Provence, right on the Mediterranean coast, we had SNOW yesterday, and our lemon tree is not looking very happy after two night below 0°C...

But judging from the cat's behaviour, spring is in the air... and that means tasting some of the 2004 wines, tonight a rosé syrah amde entirely by hand and vinified in barriques from Côtes de Provence, by Dupéré-Barrera. Not your typical local pink...

All the best

Mike

Give me a heads-up if you're going to spend a day tasting, Dana. Baby permitting, I might be able to meet up with you somewhere...
